The same athlete may need help building a sleep routine one week and an evaluation for a sleep disorder the next.
Sleep is the clearest example. The same athlete may need help building a sleep routine one week and an evaluation for a sleep disorder the next, while an injury, a contract or a family situation keeps them awake at three in the morning. These factors usually overlap, and I can offer continuity across them: education, behavioral treatment, diagnosis, medical treatment when it is indicated, and attention to the pressures surrounding the problem. Teams often need the same attention at their own level, in schedules, travel demands, recovery expectations and access to care. Working at both levels means what I learn with individuals can inform program design, and a well-designed program makes it easier for individuals to get help early.
